Brown Spots on my dog's face... what do I do?

I recently got a one year old white mini schnauzer to keep my salt and pepper mini schnauzer company. When I got her she had brown spots on her face and I'd figured maybe she needed to be bathe and cleaned. Well it's been two months now and she still has them. I've showered her and cleaned her face plenty of times but it doesn't seem to go away. They're actually coming down her face as if it were part of her hair on her face. I've noticed other white dogs around here and they don't have this.. Just wondering what can I do to get rid of this. Does anyone have any suggestions or know what it is? By the way my other schnauzer doesn't have this. So I'm curious to know what it is.

I will be taking her to the vet this weekend as well. Didn't do it before because I'd figure they would eventually go away but it's been awhile now.

are they tear stains?

it could also be from the food she eats.

If they are below her eyes, it's probably tear stains. You can buy products to wash this, but I'd consult your vet first to make sure it's not an eye infection or entropion (where the eyelashes fold under). You are right, these stains ARE very hard to wash off. Good luck!

ADD: I'm not sure exactly what causes tear stains. You'd have to call your vet. There is a product called "show eyes" which claims to get rid of tear stains. There are most likely more products. I'd call the vet and ask for a recommendation. Just make sure she doesn't have an infection or something else, first.

Your dog has tear stains.I don't think your you have a mini schnauzer because they don't come that colour.They come in salt-and-pepper,black and silver or solid black.
