well i know this is under cats, but anywayz my cat has been scratching alot and takes out scab/hairs out of his back,its really nasty, and my dog, i think she has it now, she scratches and bites her self alot and then she gets pissed off bcz she cant scratch it and starts rolling on the floor on her back and kinda growls, and when u stand up you can see her back is red/bloody looking and stuff, what could be wrong with them?

Your cat and dog may have mites. Mites usually start in the ears but can spread to other parts of the body if they are not taken care of. This also may lead to mange. Please contact your local Vet or buy a good shampoo, Walmart carries several brands be sure to read directions first. You can treat the sores with an antibiotic cream that you can also get at any store (for humans). Be sure to clean the area with peroxide first. Hope this is a help to you.

Instead of guessing, I would take at least one to the vet. Could be mites, fleas, scabies, or the mange--and all of these diseases need different cures. I do not recommend any store bought meds (especially when you do not know what you are treating) because store bought meds (especially Hartz) has tended to cause allergic reactions in most of my animals.
Some animals--like my cat--have servere flea allergies. One or two flea bites and she is ripping her fur out. Luckily, this is cheaply treated by a pill you can get at the vets office. All of the diseases listed above are easily treated once diagnosed. Please see a vet.
