What's your dog's funniest quirk?

My 2 year old cocker spaniel checks himself out in the mirror all the time. I have a full-length mirror in my bedroom on my master bathroom door. He will be laying on the couch and jump up just to go look at himself, then come back and lay down, like he's wondering if he looks the same as yesterday or if his hair's okay or something.

What's your dog's funniest quirk?

Lets see... My Cavalier likes to watch TV and bark at any animal she see's on TV especially dogs. We can kiss off ever watching the Dog Show. I think deep down she wishes she was a Show Dog.

When she's bored and wants to play she chases her tail and bark at it.

At the park she runs to the jungle gym. Runs up the stairs to the slide and slides down it.

When she begs for food she sits on our shoulders waiting patiently until we're done so she can lick the bowl clean. She does this whenever we eat ice cream.

Whenever we have a beverage over ice she gets excited and wants a piece of ice. We give her one and she crunches it up and eats it.

Mine runs around in little circles when she's excited about dinner time or a walk or something--nuts!

My German Shep/retriever watches television. She especially likes other animals and tries to find them in back of the t.v. set. Recently, Beethoven was driving her crazy when the dog would bark. To get peace back in the house, the channel has to be changed.

my pitbull sucks on blankets and kind of "kneads" them as she sucking on them. she farts then smells her butt sneezes and runs in circles. and my daschund chomps at me when she wants to play. she also makes a chewbacca sound when she itches her ear and when i wont give her table scraps or if the pitbull looks at her at night. yea my dogs are REALLY weird

Lol! Mine look in the mirror too! I think one realizes he sees himself...the other one looks really confused and will bark at the reflection.

My favorite is when the lab does his head ****** to the side (like he hears something strange,) he'll close his mouth, but a little bit of his tounge still sticks out. For my other dog, it is that he always insists on burying himself under the blankets. I'll wake up in the middle of the night and have my dog under the covers with me.

Mine will remember a lizard on the wall that was there 6 months ago. You can say to him, where's the lizard? and he goes to the same spot like it's there. He's a Pointer, so he'll stand there pointing for an 2 hours if you let him. He's also OCD. Right before he settles down for the night, he spins 3 times to the left and then 3 times to the right. Every single night.

I have a 6 mo. old Newf and he sleep in the bath tub he is almost to big for it, also if he hear the showder run look out he in it too!

My dog will scream and scare YOU to death if something scares her! It's out of nowhere! A chair scoots or a leaf falls on her back, or a sudden noise, a pen rolled off the desk and hit her! Chihuahua---she hasn't been stepped on and she isn't nervous, she is terribly vigilent and on patrol at the least provocation, wary of visitors and makes her aggitation known. But sooooo loving to me and playfull.

my teddy (red toy poodle) loves to watch things.

he will sit and watch our fish and he will sit at the balcony door and watch people walk past. he will not bark at them but just watch them

another one which annoying but we still haven't got rid of it yet is when we are watching tv and he wants attention he will paw at your leg like crazy. like he is trying to dig a hole. and he does it with such conviction that you can only laugh. it almost looks like he is so focused on making u scream in pain and then pay attention to him

my chihuahua lady does something i think is cute but probably only cuz she is mine but while i am sharing this info i thought i mention it as well.

when i get back from a dinner at a restaurant my chihuahua will come sit on my lap, put her feet on my chest and smells my breath.

and you can almost see her wheels turning. "chicken...sniff.... rice...sniff...wine....bordaux 1999...sniiff"

What's your dog's funniest quirk?

All five of the larger dogs will turn there head to one side when they hear on pitch of whistling and the turn it to the other side when they hear another pitch of whistling it is really funny.

my dogs has many quirks i'll list them all

she chases the vacuum, barks at the shed, will make a weird growl sound randomly, snort like a pig and rubs her face on the carpet after a bath, and if shes in a really hyper mood if you jump on the ground she'll start running in circles and wont stop

My Vizsla demands to be kissed on the cheek - literally - puts his cheek on your lips and won't move until you make the sounds.

Every time a police siren goes off on tv my rottie howls until it stops. She does this when a train is coming by our house also.

One of my two bordercollies loves to turn the lamp on. It's a floor lamp and all you have to do is touch it. He learned very fast if he touches it with his nose, it turns on. Really great when you don't want to get up and do it yourself. He also LOVES to climb a tree (has to be at a slight angle). He will sit in it forever!

What's your dog's funniest quirk?

When I run the vacuum, my 9 month old labbie goes and gets this little stuffed skunk toy she has (only about 6 inches long) and either takes it to her bed or carries it around in her mouth. It's her favorite toy and it's like she has to protect it from the scary vacuum.

What's your dog's funniest quirk?

Esperanza is a 16 month old Bichonpoo. If I give Esperanza a treat and she isn't ready to eat it she will place it on the bed amongst the throw pillows and then using her nose bury the treat in the pillows. When she is ready for it, she comes back and retrieves it.
