Only if you give them scissors. Do you mean SHED? (i.e. moult?) Shred means to cut something up in little pieces. I believe poodles generally don't moult, but you have to brush them every day or their hair will get matted. And they're small and yappy and can be very bad tempered. I wouldn't have one.

NO... there is no natural shedding of the "fur" on a poodle. It must have it's "fur" trimmed on a regular basis. There are exceptions... illness, scratching, fleas, bad skin could cause a loss of coat. If you are concerned about your poodle coat see your groomer on a regular basis, about every five weeks.
