Puppy is vomiting. She drinks water then vomits some of it. This morning she vomited HAIR and some food enough I think would be annoying. Is this something to be concerned about? Should I take her to the vet. She's been vomiting frequently since we brought her home from the breeder yesterday afternoon. Is this nervousness? 75% of the time she just vomits something up but not out so I can't tell what it is. She still eats, drinks and poops normal.
She is 11.5 weeks Havanese Female. We brought her brother home with us too and he's a happy male.
Vomiting Hairball for a Dog?
The bacon nylabone is fine they are highly edible. My pug did the dame thing for a while she may be nervous or she may be having problems with the food you are feeding her. Even if they came from the same parents she may be different than her brother. The hair may have just came up off the floor and wrapped itself around the bone she is chewing on. But, the hair really may not be the problem she could have something lodged in her throat and is trying to puke it out. You could try putting some olive oil (just a little ) on the nylabone to help puke or poop it out. If she persist in puking I would take her to the vet she may have picked up a virus or something. My pug got a virus from the place I took her to get her toe nails trimmed needless to say she will never be going there, again!

it could be that she has an intolerence to the food or a sensitive stomach. Best thing to do is get her checked out by a vet to make sure everything is ok. they can also give you advice about the food.

You need to "puppy proof" your house the same way as you would baby proof it. Puppies will chew on just about everything because they are still getting teeth.
If you are concerned about the vomiting, I would suggest taking her to the vet if she is vomiting frequently, this is not normal.
Good luck!
