he is a german short hair, blind in one eye. the eye is still there, its just a light blue abyss. he is a little under a year old and verrrrry warm...ideas?? im thinking mad-eye moody from harry potter...but i want to know what you think!!

It's a cute name, but I would shorten it... Never want too long of a name for an animal, too hard to say to get their attention, and too hard for them to remember... Like mine, is Roxy... Real easy to call out, real easy to say, real easy for her... She picked it up within 3 days... I would try and find something kinda like mad-eye, but not totally... like if she was a girl, Maddie, sounds like mad-eye, but easy to say and remember... good luck with your pup!!

I have two puppies, one white and the other black. The former I call Katrina, after the heroine of a TV serial and the black one is called Mammy, after a woman of our neighbourhood, of my childhood who was exceptionally black. To my mind no other names would suit them better. What's more, they answer to these names already though less than two moths old.

The point is, the name has to have meaning for you. It doesn't have to be fashionable or exotic.
