I have 2 chihuahua's and they shed hair so bad is their anything i can do to stop it?

my chihuahua's are about 9 months old and they shed their hair alot, they've had their shots,been wormed, and are took care of really good, eating dry dog food, and some table scraps bathed about once every 2 weeks and go outside several times every day to play %26amp; potty train is there anything i can do to stop the hair from falling constantly on my floors and clothes ?? thank you

First of all you're bathing them way too often. They likely have very dry skin and coats. Don't bath them so often,. especially in the dry winter months. Do thoroughly brush them at least once a week. Also, give them about 1 teaspoon of veg. oil in their food daily and you'll see the condition of their skin and coats improve. That plus the brushing will cut down on their shedding.

i don't know of anything to do other than vacuum the floor and furniture everyday and use a lint roller for your clothes.

lol try this: after u bathe them and they're all dried off "vacumn" them, it works for my dog! there's like NO hair on the floor. and after u "vacumn" them brush them.

What kind of food are you feeding them? Grocery store foods are like feeding your dog McDonalds every day. Try a mid to higher end dog food from a pet or feed store, I like Eukanuba, Science Diet and Nutromax but there are lots of good ones out there.

You might try Udo's Oil. 1 tsp a day. you can get it at Health Food stores. My daughter uses it for her chihuahus's alergys and it works. might do it for you.
