He's a black pug, and this may sound odd but it sounds like he has a hair ball. What should i do?
My dog is caughing non-stop?
He has bronchitis== Kennel cough. On a pug, I would see a vet. It will pass by itself within a month or more, but with this breed and the fact that they are prone to breathing difficulties, you should see a vet. If he were a long nosed breed, you might choose to just let it pass on its own.

Pugs are notorious for having breathing problems. Take your dog to the vet. ASAP

Check in his mouth to make sure he isnt choking. My sister has a pug and it does that noise sometimes, but all it means is that it got all excited and cant breath.. get the dog and sit it by you and just pet it gently and tell try to calm it down... the little guy just got worked up.

Don't give him cough medication like someone up there recommended.. You should take the dog to your vet.. Do not listen to people who would just tell you to give medications.. This person doesn't know your dog, or how big the dog is , or allergies etc.. They have no business telling you to give your dog medications.

Take him to a vet for a check up. Better safe then sorry!

Never ever use a collar on short snouted dogs. It can collapse the back of their bronchial tubes. Always use a harness.
